It is disappointing for many adults to realize that they are not able to completely outgrow acne issues. Unfortunately acne and breakouts are just something that many people face all of their lives. If you are tired of dealing with pimples and bad skin, here are some things you can try to help clear things up.</p>
<p>Keep your hair off of your face.</p>
<p>Throughout the day your scalp produces oil which gets into your hair and then gets transferred to your face if you don&#8217;t take steps to keep this from happening. Bangs are especially troublesome oil spreaders for people with acne problems so, if you want to keep your pores oil free, either grow your bangs out or keep them pulled back. Having bangs or long hair is certainly appealing, but remember to keep it pulled up off of your face if you want to prevent breakouts. If you are a fan of makeup either try to wear less of it or try to find makeup that is lighter on your skin. Buy makeup that has sunscreen in it instead of buying separate products and putting more clogging materials into your pores. Instead of choosing &#8220;regular&#8221; make up, buy make up that is made with minerals and vitamins that help your skin stay healthy. It is not a good idea to choose your makeup because it is the cheapest brand on the shelf. Try not to smear on more makeup than you really need. You want to wear the lightest amount of makeup that you can get away with. Don&#8217;t worry&#8211;it is still possible to paint your face without adding pounds of creams and powders to it! Another important tip: make sure your makeup gets removed completely before you go to bed at night. Leaving your makeup on while you sleep is one of the best ways to give yourself acne.</p>
<p>When you do experience a breakout or some acne, treat it but don&#8217;t pick it! Pimples and zits should ever be squeezed or picked. It is always better to leave a breakout alone. You are still allowed to wash your face and treat your breakout with some acne fighters but do not pick at your face or try to pop any of the pimples. When left to heal naturally some breakouts might stick around for a day or two. What would your rather have happen? A pimple on your face for a couple of days or a pimple scar for the rest of your life? Believe it or not the basic forms of acne prevention are also the best: cleanse your face regularly and don&#8217;t pick at anything that pops up. Other breakouts will require you to use something a little bit more powerful than a basic cleanser. The good news is that, whether you are in your teens, twenties or sixties&#8211;there are plenty of ways to help you keep the acne at bay!</p>
